1. Boosts Your Immunity - A single papaya can provide more than 200% of your daily requirement of vitamin C, which is known to boost the body's immune system.

2. Lower Cholesterol - Papayas can lower cholesterol levels in your body. Because they are rich in fibre, vitamin C and antioxidants that can prevent cholesterol build up in the arteries.

3. Helps to Ease Menstrual Pains - Papaya contains an enzyme known as papain which helps in regulating and easing flow during menstrual periods.

4. Prevents Cancer - Papaya, is rich in antioxidants and photo-nutrients that can mop up free radicals from system and prevent the cells from damages caused by free radicals.

A study by Harvard School of Public Health showed that the richness of beta-carotene in papayas protected against prostrate cancer and colon cancer growth.
