Join Us in Our Hand Washing Campaign

This year's Global Hand Washing Day (GHD) is are fast approaching and we at Care For Naija are joining hands with all the campaigning bodies, agencies and NGOs in this life-saving global campaign.

Global Hand Washing Day (GHD) is an annual advocacy day dedicated to increase the awareness of hand washing with soap as an easy, effective, and affordable way to prevent diseases and save lives. It takes place on October 15th every year.

GHD is not just an advocacy day but it's a  campaign to motivate and mobilize people around the world to improve their handwashing habits by washing their hands with soap at critical moments throughout each day.

But come to think of it hand much does it really cost to wash your hands?

The answer is nothing. Frankly I must tell you that a regular hand washing hand can save your life and money.

Yes I said money there because financially it cost less to wash your hands but more to treat any illness that not washing your hands may cause.

For instance it cost less to wash your hands but more to treat diarrhea which could be caused by not washing your hands.

Drugs cost more than soap and water why not go for soap and water instead of drugs by washing your hands regularly with soap and water.

Today, we at Care For Naija will begin join other campaigning bodies, agencies and NGOs to campaign for regular hand washing with soap.

This campaign will last till 15th October.
